Keeping your kids busy.

Keeping your kids busy.

At this time, Windermere Colville is still open regular hours. We are taking things day by day and will keep you updated as the days go on.

We know many of you are now working from home or unfortunately unemployed and/or have your children home from school. Finding daily activities to keep those kids busy and occupied can become a challenge as the weeks go by. We have found a list of sites that are offering free virtual tours and learning activities for your kids. Check them out.

While we practice social distancing, look around the area you live and the resources you have, and get outside for some fresh air. We have enough mountains, lakes and rivers to allow you to go out and hike and explore with a very minimal chance of encountering other people. Social distancing doesn’t mean you can’t leave your home, it just means to limit your time around public places and people. Exercise, fresh air and sunshine will help to keep your immune system strong.

Remember that during this time, everyone is at a higher level of stress and anxiety. If we could all reflect and try to have more patience, be a little more kind and show compassionate, we can get through this together. We might not be able to control all that is going on around us, but we can control how we react to it. Choose wisely.
